Atish Banerjea is the Chief Information Officer at Facebook. He oversees the global enterprise engineering function, building tools and products from the ground up for both Facebook employees and Workplace customers around the world. His team is also responsible for all the infrastructure behind Facebook’s consumer products, from building the commerce storefront to the supply chain to the customer support tooling. Atish’s career spans both the IT and engineering worlds. Before Facebook, Atish served as Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer for NBCUniversal where he led the Information Technology organization. Prior to that, he led a major redesign of Dex One Corporation’s IT functions as Chief Technology Officer, and also served as Chief Technology Officer for Pearson. He holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from Temple University and a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from Delhi University.
