At this year’s Game Developers Conference, Facebook and Oculus delivered multiple announcements and hands-on demos for Oculus Quest, the first all-in-one 6DOF (six degrees of freedom) gaming system designed for out-of-the-box room-scale gaming. Launching this spring, Oculus Quest features Oculus Insight tracking technology, which uses computer vision to track player movement, whether sitting, standing, or dancing, all without external sensors. Oculus Quest also comes with Touch controllers, so you can interact with virtual objects in a way that feels natural.

We saw plenty of action on the expo floor through newly playable demos of Dead and Buried 2, Journey of the Gods, and Shadow Point, as well as updates to Sports Scramble, Beat Saber, and other titles. Not everyone can attend GDC, however, so here’s a quick look at what Facebook and Oculus had on-hand for Oculus Quest.
